Time: 2:00 PM ET - 1:00 PM CT - 11:00 AM PT
Duration : 60 minutes.
Speaker :Jason Reason

During this webinar, you will learn:
Combustible dusts, which are defined by their tendency to ignite when suspended in air, come from many sources. Based on the amount of dust types that are potentially combustible, the hazards from combustible dusts pose a significant risk across a multitude of industries.
All of the NFPA combustible dust standards now retroactively require a DHA to be performed, regardless of the type of combustible dust and how it is used. Due to the complexity and extremely technical nature of DHAs, facilities often only focus on performing a DHA and ignore the process behind the DHA. Unfortunately, too many facilities focus on only the cost of the DHA, rather than the qualifications of the individual(s) performing the DHA and the systematic processes involved in completing an effective DHA.

Date: November 16th of 2017
Time: 2:00 PM ET - 1:00 PM CT - 11:00 AM PT
Duration : 60 minutes.
Speaker :Chris Koester

More than 60 percent of confined-space fatalities are rescuers, according to NIOSH, and OSHA reported that, when multiple deaths occur during a rescue, the majority of the victims are rescuers. Are your rescuers physically and mentally prepared to execute a confined space rescue when faced with a real-life emergency incident? Are they proficient in the rescue methods for non-entry and entry rescues? Are they confident they can think and react logically when under pressure? Statistics show that it can take only 4 minutes for a rescue to turn into a recovery.
In this webinar, we will discuss the critical components in your confined space rescue planning that should be top priority for your rescuers’ safety: rescue methods, rescue and personal protective equipment, and rescue training. We will also cover how to prepare your confined space rescuers emotionally and physically so they are confident and proficient when faced with executing a confined space rescue.

The webinar will discuss the core changes in the NFPA 70E 2018 standard and practical implementation of the changes. Special attention will be paid to the furthering of the philosophy of risk assessment and some lessons companies are learning to maintain the compliance with the standard and best practices.Joint responsibility is the new normal for managing safety between employers and the contractors they hire. Any contractor, subcontractor or vendor that comes on your site is now part of your risk profile. How do you manage this risk and desire for contractor continuous process improvement?
Progressive companies know they cannot limit their supply chain safety assessment focus to compliance alone. Contractors and suppliers that are compliant on paper still experience employee injury, leadership challenges, production errors and near-miss events.
Join BROWZ for a webinar discussing using both lagging and leading indicators to evaluate the safety performance of contractors. We will be discussing how to track a contractor’s safety statistics and OSHA/MSHA violations, auditing safety programs and performing safety management systems assessments.
